I haven't tried playing any "IF" bets before and was wondering if someone can assist me in explaining it.

Let's see if I have it right. Suppose I take the Cubs -260 as my first pick, and Diamondbacks -190. The type of wager I'll select is "IF WIN ONLY". And I lay 100 to win $91.09 if both selections are correct.

Here is my two part question.

What will happen to the ticket if the Cubs lose? Will the wager get canceled, and my money refunded?

And what will happen if the Diamondbacks loses? Will I get paid for winning with the Cubs? Or does the whole ticket lose?

Finally can you use “IF” bets if both games are playing simultaneously? Both starting at the exact same time?

Nick welcome to the RX..nice to have you at our site...on an IF bet your second be , in this case the D-backs would only be "live" IF the first bet WON...if you lose the first bet the second bet does not go live action

hope that helps

good luck Sir

Thank you Dante for the warm welcome. Much appreciated. So if I lose the first bet, it will be considered as a straight up wager correct?

What happens if I Win the first bet, but lose the second bet? Would I just get paid my winning on my first bet, and the second count as a regular loss?
